AFJ Travel was established in the year 2006. The Directors have over 40 years of experience in the Minibus and coach transport business.

With this vital EXPERIENCE, we know the IMPORTANCE of TIME KEEPING, MAINTENANCE,RELIABILITY, COMMUNICATION and COMPETITIVENESS, Most of all the CONSISTENCY of our service.

Based in Birmingham, 1 mile away from the city centre, 6 miles away from Birmingham International Airport and the NEC.

At present we provide up to SIXTEEN SEATER MINIBUS transport for local groups to 3 year contract for the Government.

Our Staff

Each Staff member at AFJ has an important role to play in the day to day running of the company.

The COMMUNICATION between office staff and drivers is very important to us. We keep in close contact with drivers and each minibus has a GPS TRACKING SYSTEM which allows us to track the whereabouts of the Minibus at all times.

All drivers are PROFESSIONAL and COURTEOUS. They go through RIGOROUS TRAINING which includes FIRST AID, MIDAS TRAINING, WHEELCHAIR BUS TRAINING and CUSTOMER INTERACTION.

We ensure that each driver has a relevant category Driving licence and is vetted with the CRB.

We Believe INFRASTRUCTURE and COMMUNICATION is the KEY to providing a reliable and SECOND TO NON MINIBUS SERVICE.

MAINTENANCE AND PATIENT TRANSPORT SERVICES

AFJ started from very humble beginnings in 2006 from the attic room of our current development Director with 1 minibus to now providing one of the biggest fleet of minibuses and Coaches in Birmingham,Ambulance services and fleet maintenance services.

Continual inward investment by the company in the infrastructure and personnel within the business helped us to attain a continuous steady growth pattern since 2006. AFJ growth pattern is clearly indicated from an attic room to a portacabin housed in 2500sqft. 2009 the company moved to rented premises in the city Centre which comprised of 10500sq feet. With business growth this was quickly outgrown and in 2013 we were able to purchase outright premises comprising of 46000 sq feet in neachells, which is ideally situated within the conurbation area of junction 6 of m6 and the city Centre.

The secret of our growth has been in our vision which has been TO BUILD A LONG TERM RELEATIONSHIP BASED ON MUTUAL BENEFIT WITH ALL OF OUR STAKEHOLDERS. To this end we are recognized by not only our customers but employees and suppliers as trustworthy, innovative partners in business.
